27-Last Dayy

Soooo today (Saturday) is our last day. We leave tomorrow morning at like, 3 am. At the moment we're watching Catch That Kid and we're leaving for dinner in about an hour. Here's a picture of my color, hahaha. Not much, but better than what it used to be! Have to write a paper on the plane, and we'll arrive home at around 10:40 or so. Easter Sunday! That means Easter eggs! Siick. Well, I found a guy that I know that knows the kid that I told you about in my 6th post (6-Wowww), and we'll see if that gets us anywhere. Sort of excited for school. This Monday is the first day of our 4th term, so I have two new classes; lifeguard and film studies. Hope lifeguard isn't a joke, and also hope no cute boys are in that class. I'm really self-conscious in a swim suit. Well, I'm going to go and get ready for dinner tonight, and this movie is gettin pretty good. It's got Corbin Bleu, Kristen Stewart, and Max Theiriot. So little! So cute! Uhg, and my sunburn itches too. Aiight, laterr playerss.

26-Everybody Hates Chris

Watching Everybody Hates Chris. It's on two channels, two different episodes at once! Well, I'm burnt and tan, so that's good. I'm going parasailing tomorrow! I can't believe it! Haha, my grandma asked us if we wanted to, and when we said yes, her response was "Great, I'll arrange it!" HA! Love her. Well, time for dinner. Leaving in 3 days... sigh. Ahhh well. Laterr all.

25-Flo Rida !

Heyy everyone! Made it to Florida! Today (Sunday) was our first full day, we got in yesterday at about 6. So here's how it all went down:

Get up at about 9 and get picked up to leave at 9:30

Get to the airport for our flight at 11.

Check luggage: that goes smoothly.

Security: good, until mom forgets about the bottles of lotion and shampoo in her bag. That was a problem.

Okay, so it's about 10:45 when mom gets out from checking that bag AND going through security a second time. We now have 15 minutes to get to our gate.

So, we get there, and it's not the right destination. With 5 minutes to spare, we are informed our flight has been moved down two gates. SO, we book it there.

We make it; last ones to board. All goes well on that flight.

We arrive in Memphis for a short layover. One thing forgotten on the previous flight: all the kleenex. Nuts.

Okay, we get off the flight in Memphis to go to our next flight to take us to Tampa. Problem there: mom forgot to print Pete & My boarding passes. Super.

Well, that turns out not to be a problem, other than they double booked my mom's seat.

That was eventually solved too, and we got to Tampa juuust fine.

Get to Tampa, regret wearing Uggs, a Northface, and jeans, and proceed to baggage claim.

Now, I still haven't called to see if they found it, but then I lost my Northface after getting off plane on the way to the shuttle. Oh well.

Anyways, we made it and went swimming when we got to our grandma's house. It's rained allllll day today. Tomorrow is supposed to be the same, but the rest of the week is supposed to be goood. Haven't had a chance to tan yet (grrrrr) but I think I will a little later this week. Okay, I'll keep you posted cause I do have wifi! I forgot the cord for my camera though, so I won't be able to get pictures on my computer til I get home.

23-Two & A Half Men

Hellllooo. Watching Two & A Half Men while trying to do my homework. Got my missing assignments to 5 things! Two in Women's Studies and three in math. It's 5:54 now, and my goal is to be done with those and my shower by 9. Florida in 3 days. So STOKED! Really hope that this Minnesota skin will get some color! Craving a DQ Blizzard, but when am I NOT craving one. Honestly. Welllllll more tomorrow. Hopefully more interesting.

22-Missing Assignments

Well I have a bunch of missing assignments, and the end of the quarter is on Thursday, so I need to jump on that. But got some new clothes and leave for Florida on Saturday morning! Soo excited to be tan, I'll be getting you all some videos and picturess(: Laterrr

20-Nails

Holaa. Painting my nails and listening to Jack Johnson. What a great name. Hahaha, well some drama has been going down at school, but nothing to bother me too much. A week till spring break (FLORIDA!) and it's muuch needed. Well, homework needs to be done and soccer in two hours. Missing Hayley, too. 3 months until she comes home for the summer. This weekend also marks the first day of spring! Winter is over! Snow may come again once more, but right now it's 55 degrees and sunnnnny. Loving it! Cannot wait to be tan. When we get to Florida, we're going to look like paste. Tan, shop, eat, sleep. That sounds SO good right now. Oh, went to a college fair on Tuesday of this week. Saw some good local places, but would really like to get a full scope of my options through out the states. I want to be a veterinarian, a magazine editor or a therapist/psychiatrist. Any suggestions? I've got three more years to figure it out, so no pressure..yet. Still trying to get the parents to get on board with me doing that choir next year. It'll be close to $3,000; including our tour to Europe or South Africa. Want to go sooo badly. Scholarships and lots and lotttts of fundraising! Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. Oh, and any good book suggestions? I want to knock one off over spring break. Okay, more tomorrow.

18-Sunshine, sunshine, it's fineee..

Helllo all! The sun came out today in Minneapolis, and I'm loving it! Almost all the snow is gone, and I'm so stoked! Got home and am having some ice cream without having to put on a sweatshirt or cuddle up in a blanket! Got to start on my homework, but then have soccer. Oh, heard from a fan the other day (hello, Will!), and he was real sweet. Also started a new book, Beautiful Creatures. Kind of looks like a wanna-be-Twilight sort of book, but I'll give it a chance. 12 days til Florida! Can't wait, and I'll be getting you all some pictures! Loveeeee till next timee,

Cleaned my room for the second time today (OCD), and almost to point of vacuuming my couch...again. You know what would be amazing? Finding 1,000,000,000 dollars and going shopping. 14-Kelli !

Today my friend Kelli informed me that she was reading my blog! She's prolly reading this one too (heyy kell!), so just wanted to note that I'm not alone on this thing, hahaha. At the moment, I'm at school at my brother's last basketball game, and they're creaming the other team 27-2. We're at halftime now, and I just feel so bad for this other team! Their best players bailed and they have 3 subs. Poor kids. Thank god soccer is a relatively low scoring game... most of the time. Sorry I've been slacking on pictures, so here's the daily enlightenment for today. Laterr.

12-Springin?

Holaa again. At first, my thought was to make this a goodbye post, but people will follow someday, right? Hahaha, well until that day, this day is getting rather boring. The bright side is that its sunny and warm out! I hope we have an early spring, because if you've ever experienced Minnesota winter, you know it's enough to give you S.A.D for realllz. The song We Get On by Kate Nash (loveee her) has been in my head for mayyyybee 2 weeks. Hahaha, that's okay though. Besides the fact that the pitch and tempo are rather odd, the lyrics pertain to my life and I like knowing someone else might have the same issue as me. Even if they are famous and we can't like, chat about it. Well, other than listening to music and procrastinating my homework, my life has gotten extremely boring. I wish I had my old dogs back. 10-Sup

Sup bloggers. Sooo it's 7 in the morning, and I have strep. Again. Wow, it sucks beyond belief. Anyways, nothing much has really happened in the past few days. Soccer has started up again, we're planning our band trip to Missouri in April, and it's less than a month until spring break! Absolutely cannot wait until spring break. This Minnesotan is going to get tan if it kills her. Well, hope I don't go insane while home alone today. Sucks that I'm already up, cause now I can't go back to sleep! Does that ever happen to you? You wake up, but you have the option to go back to sleep, and you just can't? I hate that! Well later dudes. Ohh, byy the wayy: strep blows.

7-LookBook

Hola bloggers. Today is Sunday...which means tomorrow is Monday. Yuck. Anyways, I'm now a member of LookBook, an invitation only website for new trends and fashions. Here's my link so check it out. If that doesn't work, the picture included is my first look. The pictures are from summer, but I love that outfit. Oh, and I'm watching a commercial for this new Delta faucet, and its touch-sensitive! That's freakin awesome. Last day of the Olympics today...): so sad. USA verse Canada today in hockey, though. Excited for that one. Good for Canada, though, for getting the most gold medals. I like Canada. Of the places I want to live someday, Canada is definitely one of them. Others include San Francisco (MOST definitely), Carmel-by-the-Sea, New York City, London, and maybe Paris. I'll let you know where I end up, hahaha. Well my mom just got some new boxes of Girl Scout cookies, so I have some things I gotta doooo...hahahaha. Until next timee, all.

6-Wowww

Okay, so I went to my high school boys varsity basketball game cause I was playing with the pep band for a day, and I saw the kid who I saw when I went to Youth in Government. The kid I saw at YIG is REALLY HOT. In 5th grade we went to this summer program for extra credit or something, he went for math and I went for chemistry. Whenever we went out for a lunch break, he'd pick me to be on his baseball team. And then I saw him at YIG and he's still the cutest thing ever! Anyways, he was on the opposing team! Varsity! And I really hope he didn't see me playing in the pep band... embarrassinggg. Anyways, he goes to a different school so I never see him. And I don't want to sound like a creeper, but I wish I had a chance to go out with him. I don't have a cell phone (yes, I'm 15 without a cell phone), and if I had the choice between a phone and going out with him, I'd choose him. Uhg, this is so crazy! To be honest, though, I probably won't see him again until next years YIG. But everything happens for a reason, right? Oh well, later.

5-Early Release/Lose Weight

Soooo today we got out of school early because of conferences, but I don't have a conference, so I get to be home and watch Tyra! Hahaha, well tomorrow is career day and I am going to a vetrinarian! I hope I can get to hold lil puppies and aminalss. Hahaha, so cute. So much temptaion to eat all the ice cream and Girl Scout cookies. Omnomnomnom. Oh, something you should know about me is that I struggle with my self confidence. I know this about myself and I'm not afraid to tell people about it. I hate my tummy and my inner thighs! Other than those two parts of me, I am pretty much thin, or at least that's what my friends tell me. I am really active though, I have a game later today. I play soccer year round, so it's not like I don't excersize, it's that I eat too much. Roar! If anyone knows, does HydroxyCut work? I'm thinking about trying it. I don't even know, you guys. Life is in this crazy routine right now but it always seems like I have time to eat, but not enough time for homework and friends. How do I manage to fuck up all the time? It's just little things, too. I've been home for an hour and I've already had a bowl of ice cream and a plate of nachos! I'm going to Florida in 29 days, and I don't want to look like I do now! I wanna wear a bikini and get tan! If anyone knows how I can lose the fat in my stomach and my inner thighs? I know it's kind of a short time, but I also want to look good for summer... uhg this is so stressful. Later players.

4-River Dance

Aloha, bloggers. Hahah, there's no one following my blog, so I guess hello space. Anyways, I'm in my dad's office and found an app to blog from! Woop wooooop! Anyways, my dad put in a River Dance CD we used to listen to when I was little. We had the VHS to it and we'd watch in total astonishment. I wanted to be an Irish dancer like the girls in the movie so badly. Haha, and here I am years later with a best friend (not Hayley) who's an Irish dancer. Small world. My day at school was okay. I don't have a lot of great friends at school, though. Most ofthr friends I make at school aleady have best friends. And so do I, I guess, but Hal is so far away! Sooo not fair. Life is at kind of a standstill at the moment. I've got a soccer game tomorrow night that I'm not particularly excited for, but whatever. We're playing for 3rd in our winter league, which is kind of disapointing, but what can you do. Well, the picture attached is the Daily Enlightenment for the day from my iPod. 3-Hayley

Hey, so I have this best friend who lives in California, and I'm having some thoughts. Her name is Hayley. The picture is of us together, I'm the one with the crazy look in my eyes, and she's the one smiling her face off :D. Yeah, best friends since we were 2. Anyways, she lives in Cali and I live in Minnesota, so we're a fair distance away. It's expensive to go out and see each other, but she comes here with her family at least once a year, and I've been trying to get out there for spring breaks and such. The thing is though, and I've struggled with this ever since she moved, is that she has a new life out there that doesn't include me. And I have to come to accept that because if I don't, then I'll just be living in jealousy my entire life. For example, she's in SoCal right now seeing some of her friends there and having a great time. Instead of me being happy for her, my initial feeling was of jealousy that she wasn't visiting me. Now, I think it's okay for me to feel that way a tiny bit, but I'm not the controller of her life! Things change, people change, and though it's not always good right away, so many doors have been opened for her and for me. I've had to learn that when stuff falls apart, you have to get right back up and deal. She's gotten so many good things out of Cali. She goes to an amazing school, she's met amazing people, she lives in a gorgeous lil town near the ocean, and the guys aren't bad! She gets to travel back to MN once a year, maybe twice, and we've kept in touch so well. Last night, I wasn't feeling well (strep, remember?) and so I hatched this idea for next spring break, 2011, for me to go out there like I did last year. As I was chatting with Hayley, a commercial for Carnival Cruise Line came on TV, and instantly I thought of my cruise about a year ago. I thought how awesome it would be to go on one with Hayley and our families! I told her that, and the first thing she said was how fun it would be to invite her friends from California. In a way, when she said that, my heart sank. I realized that I am not the only friend she has. I'm not the one that she thinks of when she's making plans. It's no longer convenient for us to be around eachother. When we are, though, we have the time of our lives. We're young, I know, but time is running out. She's a year older, and one day, she's going to be off at college doing so many awesome things with her life while I'm still stuck here in MN at my senior year of high school. I guess hearing her say that she wanted to spend her spring break with other people made me realize she must love them too. And I feel so stupid for thinking she wouldn't. Later I let her know that I don't want a cruise. I just want to fly out to where she is. Be by the ocean, eat In-N-Out Burger, meet her friends, see her in her home setting, be with her family and her dogs, and let it be for the time that we have. I hope she reads this cause there's no way this could be put on FaceBook and it would never fit on Twitter. I love you, Hal Marie. I wish I could be with you all the time, but then again, that would take the special-ness out of our friendship. We've thrived even while thousands of miles apart. I want to continue that. And hey, next spring break is a year away and we have summer 2010 to look forward to. Thanks for reading, if anyone did. Later, dudes.

1-Strep

Hey yall, welcome to the first blog post. At the moment, I'm home watching Rachel Ray because my strep test came back positive yesterdayyy. I wish the Olympics were on during the day, but no. Speaking of Olympics, I think that would be the highlight of my life to go to them someday. Women's US Olympic Soccer Team 2016-2020! That's my goal, don't know if it's realistic. Well, I think I'm going to try to get a picture of me in here, but I have to go shower now cause it's late in the afternoon and I'm still in my pjs. Later dudess.
